Lead Data Science Librarian

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the technical teams building the Data Access Profile (DAP) and associated API by explaining cataloging and metadata concepts to help streamline access to the data independent of the data type or source.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below

• Knowledge and at least 5 years of experience with data management, transformation, visualization, analysis, metadata standards, and organization techniques and tools.
• At least 10 years of demonstrated experience categorizing data and metadata in order to build the metadata application profile.
• Knowledge and at least 5 years of experience of search tools, search results organization and the implications of metadata organization, indexing and catalog content.

Integration Engineer Lead

Responsibilities:

• Provide systems engineering and integration support to the Government for the integration of newly developed capabilities targeted for IOC in the GSR Integration/test and operational environments.
• Develop and deliver the processes to perform integration, staging, and release management for these capabilities.
• Provide methods to automatically deploy existing or newly identified services, COTS and GOTS products, custom code, and software developed by the Government to provide an overall solution that meets program and product owner objectives.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below

• A minimum 5 years’ engineering experience.
• Thorough understanding of standard web services protocols including but not limited to SOAP, REST, and OGC.
• Experience with delivery of an integrated solution using Agile software delivery techniques.
• Ability to integrate software, COTS, GOTS, FOSS, and capabilities into a baseline and making them an operational whole.
• Experience with proprietary and open source GIS applications and database services such as OpenGeo, ArcGIS Server, PostGIS, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Spatial.
• Thorough understanding of the following program languages and systems (at a minimum): Java, PLpgSQL, Python, Scheme, JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of integrating systems, databases of varying architecture.
• Experience with integrating security components with applications and databases.
• Extensive experience with AWS and cloud services. OpenLayers/Google Maps/ArcGIS APIs.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management and Request for Change process for review and assessment.
• Experience in System Engineering and project/program management. Knowledge and/or experience with NGA imagery and date repositories, products, data types, and uses.

Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• assist Project Scrum Masters to produce accurate delivery estimates.
• Manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.
• Provide progress updates to GSR PMO to ensure the management of any delivery risks or concerns.
• Lead a wide range of projects involving the implementation of new and existing systems, solutions, and processes.
• Design, implement and maintain application phases. Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Recommend changes to improve established application processes. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Develop application code programs.
• . Develop and execute test plans, support formal testing, and resolve defects. Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• A minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience working on a large-scale project/program building API’s and web services and working with SQL databases.
• A minimum 7 years’ of demonstrated software development experience within a large program/project utilizing SAFe or similar agile methodologies.
• Ten (10) years’ demonstrated experience working with Linux Command Lines on large scale programs/projects.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least 15 years of demonstrated experience with Java, C#, C++, Go. Python, XML, Linux, or JavaScripts on a large-scale project.

Operations & Sustainment Lead

Responsibilities:

• Leads GSR operations and maintenance effort.
• Coordinates and performs software problem analysis, requirements analysis, design, modification, testing and adaption of application software.
• Directs and manages resources responsible for the resolution of discrepancies and other required maintenance activities.
• Ensure operations process and procedures are followed. Ensure resolution of Priority 1 and 2 INC and PBRs per NGA timelines for operational tickets.
• Conduct root cause analysis of high priority INC and PBRs.
• Coordinate the status of operations to the GPMO and other stakeholders.
• Provides a daily operations status of all GSR stakeholders.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below

• At least 10 years of experience in Cyber Security. Information Technology or STEM Bachelor’s degree
• At least 10 years of experience in leading team-tasks for modifying complex applications programs from specifications and Discrepancy Reports.
• At least 10 years of experience in systems sustainment, integration, and test on a large complex program/project
• At least 10 years of experience with and thorough understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud services on a large complex program/project.
• At least 10 years of experience or certification with software and system lifecycle methodologies (e.g., ISO, CMMI).
• ITIL Service Transition and Service Operations certification.

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in NGA geospatial information system development or sustainment.
• At least 5 years of experience in NGA application software operations and sustainment.

Responsibilities:

• responsible for leading all work related to architecture design, development, and deployment of the overall systems.
• Will be defining system solutions for clients and user needs, cost, and requirements for integration with their existing applications, systems and or platforms.
• design, configure, operate, and perform maintenance on networking and computer systems to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, web portals, inter/intranet connections, firewalls, servers, and security.

• Knowledge of ICD 503 requirements and their application to secure information systems.

• Experience of at least three (3) years demonstrating leadership skills as a program or portfolio level architect.
• Knowledge of semantic web, search, and tagging technologies and strategies.
• Five (5) or more years’ experience in redesigning legacy systems into end state optimized architectures.
